Headmaster Robert Thoburn, Jr. today presented Paul St. Jean with a Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Paul was recognized for his performance in the 2011 national Merit Scholarship Program.
About 34,000 students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2011 competition for National Merit Scholarships, Commended Students placed in the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the PSAT the past year.
We hope this recognition will enhance Paul's education opportunities and encourage him to serve the Lord well in the diligent use of his talents.
